｢第１５回おおた工業フェア｣開催にあたり

日本の景気は、中国を中心とするアジア向け輸出の増加や政府の経済刺激策が支えとなり、僅かながらもプラス成長を維持してきましたが、２０１０年中盤以降の世界経済の減速が急激な円高を招き、日本の輸出型産業に大きな打撃を与えています。この影響は大田区の中小製造業に対する取引先からの値下げ圧力や生産調整の要求など、少なからず暗い影を落としています。

このような厳しい経済の状況下ですが、大田区の製造業の多くは飽くことなく技術や技能の研鑽に努めております。　「おおた工業フェア」は、このような大田区中小企業や企業グループの特徴ある技術や技能を広く紹介し、新たなビジネスの創造を目的とした工業技術展示会です。さらに今回は羽田空港の国際化に伴い、大田区製造業の国際展開を新たなテーマとします。｢おおた工業フェア｣にご来場いただき、ここでしか見ることのできない技術や技能をぜひご覧ください！

On the Opening of the 15th Ota Industrial Fair

The Japanese economy has maintained a slight positive growth trend, supported by growing export to China and other Asian countries and by the government stimulus plans. However, the slowdown of the world economy since mid-2010 has resulted in a sharp appreciation of the yen, delivering a heavy blow to the export industries of Japan. This has cast a dark cloud over the small manufacturing companies in the Ota City, in the form of pressure from customers to cut prices and adjust production.

Despite these circumstances, many manufacturers in Ota are tirelessly honing their technologies and skills. Ota Industrial Fair is an industrial technology exhibit which aims to create new business opportunities by offering a broad introduction of the unique technologies and skills of the small businesses and business groups of Ota. In addition, this year’s exhibit has a new theme: the international expansion of the manufacturing industry of Ota, brought on by the international expansion of the Haneda Airport.
