Ota City, Tokyo has Tokyo international airport "Haneda", the new Japan's gateway and a region with thriving commerce and industry. They also have many unique and unconventional shops and restaurants, which supports people's everyday lifestyle and needs. Moreover, last year in October due to Haneda airport internationalization, Ota City has now been connected to 17 cities in other countries, and the numbers are expected to keep increasing. This will in future, gradually increase attention from overseas to Haneda airport and Ota City.
However, last march on 11th, in eastern Japan a massive earthquake and tsunami occurred, with subsequent nuclear reactor blasts that not only devastated the northeast area of the Kanto region but also affected overall Japanese economy and specially gave a severe blow to tourism.
Our main aim in holding "Ota Commerce and Tourism Fair 2011" exhibition is to send an encouraging message from Ota City to the area devastated by the recent triple tragedy, to help them in their efforts for economic recovery and reconstruction.
Let's use this exhibition as a new business chance and unite everyone's power in Ota City to energize Japanese economy!
