The pride of Ota City,Urban-Style Convention Facility

For expanding facility functionality of Ota City Industrial Hall, and to support local SME in the southern Tokyo region, Tokyo Metropolitan and Ota City have complex built Ota City Industrial Plaza (PiO) in February 1996. This place had been used Ebara Fruits and Vegetables Market Kamata branch. The building has constructed on spindly trapezoidal ground space, and its shape is image of thin and sharply-pointed cutting tool, and the interior decoration is image of machine element. The unique design won an excellent prize of the public architecture in May 2000. This facility has one floor under ground and six floors above ground, the total floor space is 22,758.78m².For supporting and promoting the regional industrial revitalization, we opened various support organization and institute in this facility,and provide rental exhibition hall and meeting room service. We called Ota City Industrial Plaza as” PiO” for short. It is commonly known as PiO by facility users.

The floor space of large exhibition hall is approximately 1,600 ㎡. It can be used for various events such as large scale exhibition, heavy goods display, testing center . The High-grade convention hall can be used for lecture meeting and party. We also have eight meeting room and one Japanese-style room for rental, it can be used as per purpose and requirement.
